Solar energy solutions

Turn available roof or land into a disciplined energy investment

We connect energy audits, site constraints, financial modelling, engineering, grid approvals and EPC into one solar delivery programme.

The Kedar approach

Solar performance is determined before installation — by the load profile, roof and structure, shade, equipment architecture, tariff and operating plan. Our feasibility-led process establishes these fundamentals before procurement begins.

Capabilities

One project team across the full infrastructure scope

Advice, engineering and execution remain connected, so key assumptions do not disappear between vendors.

01

Audit & investment case

Define the right system against actual consumption and site conditions.

  • Energy audit and interval-load profiling
  • Rooftop versus ground-mount assessment
  • Shadow, orientation and usable-area study
  • Structural and site-constraint review
  • Financial modelling and scenario comparison
02

Engineering & EPC

Translate the investment case into a safe, buildable solar asset.

  • Detailed project report, SLD, GA and BOQ
  • Module, inverter and balance-of-system selection
  • Structural, civil and electrical engineering
  • Installation, testing and grid synchronisation
  • Net-metering and DISCOM coordination where applicable
03

Performance & O&M

Protect yield through disciplined monitoring and field maintenance.

  • Performance monitoring and yield review
  • Module cleaning and site upkeep planning
  • Inverter and string-level diagnostics
  • Preventive maintenance and breakdown support
  • Performance documentation and corrective action

Where it works

Solar designed around how the facility consumes energy

01

Industrial rooftops

Daytime generation aligned with manufacturing loads, roof constraints and safe maintenance access.

02

Commercial campuses

Solar for offices, institutions and common-area loads with grid and building integration.

03

Ground-mounted systems

Land, evacuation, civil works and energy economics considered as one infrastructure scope.

04

Housing societies

Common-area solar planned around roof rights, shared loads, metering and resident governance.

Technical questions

Frequently asked questions

The right answer depends on the site. These are the principles we use before detailed assessment.

How is the right solar capacity determined?

We review interval consumption, sanctioned load, tariff, available area, shade and structural constraints. The recommended size is based on the facility's usable generation opportunity and commercial objectives rather than a generic roof-area formula.

Do you assess structural suitability?

Yes. Rooftop feasibility includes the roof type, condition, access, loading constraints and mounting approach. Where required, specialist structural verification is included before final engineering.

Do you handle net-metering and DISCOM coordination?

We support the applicable application, technical documentation, inspection and coordination process. Policies and eligibility differ by state and consumer category, so the project plan is based on the local utility framework.

How do you protect generation after installation?

Monitoring, cleaning plans, inverter checks, string diagnostics and preventive maintenance are established around the site. Performance issues are investigated against weather, soiling, equipment and electrical data rather than assumptions.

Can solar be combined with EV charging?

Yes, where the site profile supports it. We assess solar generation, building load and charging demand together so the electrical architecture and operating logic are coordinated.
